While the final totals on numbers have not yet been tallied, the Rotary Club of Weyburn's Festival of Carols held on Sunday was a success once again in its 70th year.

"Judging by donations, it was a successful day," said Rotary Club president Jill Thorn. "It was a smaller crowd in the afternoon, when there were less choirs/groups performing. I think we had a full house in the evening."

She said she heard very positive comments about all of the groups.

"We had some very talented musical groups and individuals included in the Festival," she added. "Heather Sidloski did a wonderful job organizing and managing the Festival with some last-minute additions to the program."
