The Moule family sent out a thanks from the bottom of their hearts to everyone who purchased cookies last month in support of the Mending Little Hearts Fund of Saskatchewan.

In all, 446 cookie orders were placed by local supporters, and this resulted in a total of $7,855 raised this year.

Throughout the month of February, heart health month in Canada, Morgan and Myla Moule, 14, were busy baking cookies to fulfill the orders.

Their mother Jennie Moule posted a video last week on social media, where she made a prize draw and thanked participants and sponsors.

"This year was a amazing year. Our goal was $5,000 and to beat our 223 dozen cookies from last year, I am happy to say and super pumped to say we did beat our goal."

"We had a fantastic month. We had so much support, and just it was phenomenal, the whole thing."

Morgyn shared, "I'm really happy because the money goes to towards Champs Camp and I just love to go there because I get to meet people with heart conditions like me."

The Moules' three-year fundraising total for Mending Little Hearts is $14,773.
