After Tuesday night’s devastating fire on Barber Crescent, the community is rallying together to help the families affected in more ways than one.

While many woke Wednesday to hear of how bystanders helped the Weyburn Fire Department to clear out the belongings from the family on one side of the duplex, tragically everything the family on the other side owned was lost in the fire.

On Wednesday, a GoFundMe was set up to help the family of Tatiana Barrera Sánchez and Teagen Montreuil. The GoFundMe description states the family did not have tenant insurance and will need assistance to replace clothing and furniture.

At this time it isn’t known if there have been any efforts put in place for the family on the other side of the duplex.
