Walking your dogs on the Tatagwa Trails, attending a hockey game, or even just enjoying bird-watching from your back deck? Snapping some photos is a great way to showcase the excitement and beauty of our community.
Weyburn Tourism is currently collecting images of 'the Opportunity City' through a photo contest to use for their upcoming launch of a newly 'rebranded' marketing campaign.
They're taking submissions until the end of Friday, November 10th.
Anyone who submits a photo of just about anything Weyburn, such as local events, scenery, and everyday life in our city, will be entered into a draw to win a prize - tickets to a home game for the Richardson Pioneer Weyburn Red Wings.
Executive Director of Weyburn Tourism, Monica Osborn, told Discover Weyburn that these photos do not have to be taken this week. In fact, they can be beach scenes from Nickle Lake Regional Park, a Weyburn Beavers baseball game from spring, or even ice fishing from last winter. The possibilities are endless when it comes to the photo captures locals take just enjoying life in Weyburn.
Submit photos in the comments on their Facebook post HERE or email them to weyburntourism@gmail.com.
