The Weyburn Credit Union Spark Centre's adult dodgeball league is in full swing, and local player Peyton Bengston told Discover Weyburn that they are indeed dodging, ducking, dipping, diving, and dodging... which can sometimes result in injuries for adults.

"I didn't think when signing up dodgeball was going to be this intense, but I mean, we're adults now and we're not kids anymore, and I guess we whip the ball, and I was whipping the ball and I whipped the ball so many times on Wednesday that my I threw out my arm a little bit."

Bengston, who is only 30, said a number of the players are in their 40s and 50s.

"We played against their teams and they're all having fun though, they're whipping the ball just the same."

She said all that dodging, ducking, dipping, and diving can also result in some other movie-like motions.

"I got called 'the Matrix' the other day, just because I literally slid and like did a 'Matrix' move and then whipped the ball. It is full-force dodgeball for adults."
