Team Saskatchewan will be sliding into tonight's game at the Tim Hortons Brier against Team Nunavut at 6:00 p.m.

Weyburn's Brennen Jones and Team Knapp have been representing Team Saskatchewan at the Tim Hortons Brier in London, Ontario since it got underway on Friday, March 3rd.

Jones expressed to Discover Weyburn that the Tim Hortons Brier has been fantastic.

"The facility is amazing and the crowds are electric. There are around 3000-4000 fans in the stands every draw. The ice has been a bit tricky with the amount of snow and humidity getting tracked into the building, but it's getting manageable."

Jones explained that in their first game, they were still learning the ice as it was completely different than their pre-event practices. "We had many good takeaways from that game, as well as last night's game coming off a loss."

"The best part of our team is the resiliency we have as we have no quit," Jones revealed. "We will battle to the bitter end and leave it all out on the ice. We have some room to get sharp, but each game we're getting stronger."

The support of their family, he shared, as well as the fans, has been tremendous. Seeing the green in the crowd and hearing their cheers gives Team Knapp that extra push of energy.

"We had an amazing meal with the entire group on Saturday night."

Jones added that there is a lot of week left and they have the fight to push right to the bitter end.

"It will be an exciting finish, as two of our first three games were against the toughest teams in our pool. We are confident that we will be able to post a few more wins to hopefully push us into the next playoff pool."
