It has begun! This morning marked the start of the tree decorating for the Festival of Trees. For the next three days, the beautiful showroom at E. Bourassa and Sons will be filled with decorators, adorning the trees in preparation for the auction.
“It's our favorite time of year. So right now, we have set up for the next three days. So, all the businesses and individuals who are donating trees will be in throughout the next three days setting up. We are thinking we're going to have around 22. Trees up for,” said Assistant Director, Judy Lumb.
The event will officially kick off Thursday, November 23 which will also include numerous silent auction items.
“The tree auction will be on the 30th. The silent auction items that we will have set up will be on display here at E. Bourassa and Sons, you have to go online to bid, and that will close on the 29th,” added Lumb.
