Everything is coming together as organizers prepare for the 2022 edition of Canadian Western Agribition.

Grain Expo is one of the key events and runs November 29th and 30th.

Committee chair Kelsey Ashworth says its a two-day conference that is tailored specifically to grain producers.

"We have a variety of speakers come in, that talk about topics which are relevant to the grain industry and to the producers. We have the opportunity to network with other producers that are there, and there's also a trade show of many companies that we can interact with and talk about businesses and services they can provide."

This conference will focus on logistics and rail movement of grain, managing inflation on your operation, fertilizer market update. What's new in the world of ag tech, using satellite imagery to predict yield data, and the provincial insect specialists will be providing an outlook for 2023.

The keynote speaker for the event is Sheldon Kennedy.

Kennedy's presentation on Wednesday will focus on his experiences and his life now on the farm.

Registration for this year's event has been extended to Wednesday, November 23rd at 9 pm.
