Tourism Radville is taking a step back in time with "Stories in Stone", host Beau Gilmore walks visitors through the Radville Laurier cemetery sharing the stories of fallen soldiers that are laid to rest in Radville.

"We have a lot of very rich history in Radville, so those tours focus on the homesteaders, the old families that first settled here from Europe back in the early 1900's," shared Sue Nimegeers with Tourism Radville. "We decided this year we would do a tour like that, but focus instead on our veterans and our soldiers in honor of Remembrance Day. So the tour is right at the cemetery and we visit the graves of ones that served our country."

Nimegeers said uncovering the stories of the past is a labour of love. Many of the stories and pictures are researched by Tourism Radville, along with help from family, and the Estevan Military Museum.

Stories in Stone, an outdoor event on Sunday November 7th, 2:00 PM. Begins at the CN station at 1:45pm, tickets are walk-up and $10 each.
