For the November Traffic Spotlight on intersection safety and winter driving police reported 709 violations in Saskatchewan.

These violations included 270 drivers who disobeyed stop signs, 196 drivers who failed to obey a traffic light, 82 drivers who made a U-turn at traffic light-controlled intersections, and 161 other intersection-related Traffic Safety Act violations. During the month of November police also reported 312 impaired drivers, 4,524 tickets for speeding or aggressive driving, 206 tickets for seatbelt or passenger restraint infractions, and 593 tickets for distracted driving.

This month the Traffic safety Spotlight focuses on impaired driving, and police continue to be on the lookout.
