The U15 AA Annugas Wings were back on the ice Wednesday night as the U15 AA Estevan Bruins came to town. The Wings would score three goals in the first period, then hold on for a 6-1 victory over their Highway 39 rivals.

Estevan would open the scoring when Conrad Hase scored at the 1:13 mark, but then, Weyburn took over.

Justin Whitrow opened the scoring for Weyburn with 8:25 to go in the opening period, assisted by Langston Gold. The Wings would then take the lead with 3:56 remaining when Brennan Brown found the back of the net. He was assisted on the goal by Ryder Gilroy and Reid Fraser. Just 35 seconds later Morgan Lacoste made it 3-1 Weyburn. His tally was assisted by Gold and Whitrow.

Weyburn kept up the pressure in the second period, and Aidan Mohan opened the lead up to 4-1 when he scored with 6:03 on the clock in the frame. He was assisted by Gilroy and Brown.

The third period opened with Brown scoring his second of the night just 65 seconds in. Gilroy and Kaleb Sheasby had the helpers on the goal. Whitrow would then close out the scoring for the game with 6:59 to play with his second of the night. He was assisted by Gilroy and Wade Franks.

The U15 AA Wings will be back in action this coming Sunday when they host the Moose Jaw Warriors at Crescent Point Place.
