The Weyburn Independent Riders made their way through Weyburn this afternoon as part of the 34th Annual Santa Claus Toy Run.

Earlier this week Santa's sleigh was set up in Weyburn to accept new toy donations for the Salvation Army.

Once the sleigh was full, Santa and 35 local riders took to the streets.

According to the Salvation Army, roughly 300 toys were brought in.

"This is once again fantastic support from the community," said Ronza Reynard, Community Ministries Coordinator for Salvation Army. "Every year the Independent Riders come out and support this wonderful event, without them we might not have enough toys for the Christmas season. The Weyburn Community supports and believes in what The Salvation Army does in this community and supports it well. We are so very thankful for this partnership."
