It's the story that has the agricultural industry buzzing.

Viterra has agreed in principal to a $6 billion takeover bid. The proposals is from Switzerland-based Glencore International, who has partnered with Calgary-based Agrium and Winnipeg's Richardson International.

One of the concerns has been the head office for the company being relocated out of Regina, potentially losing hundreds of jobs but Glencore says they want to keep the office where it is.
