Last week's water main break in Weyburn affected the city and communities in the surrounding area that rely on Weyburn's water.

There was a boil water advisory for a few days that was lifted from the city of Weyburn on Saturday. However, there are a few homes still affected in the city that are close to where the water main break occurred.

The rural communities surrounding Weyburn that receive their water from the city are still on a boil water advisory as well.

Regular samples of water are being sent to the Water Security Agency, who will let the city know when the advisory can be lifted for select homes in Weyburn and rural homes.

The city hopes to get the all-clear from the Water Security Agency very soon. We will keep you updated as more information becomes available.
