The Junior Boys’ basketball team from Weyburn Comprehensive School has now won 15 games in a row after they took their fourth tournament in a row this past weekend in Moosomin.  

They opened the tournament Friday night with a 54-44 win over Indian Head. Then, Saturday morning they topped Whitewood by a score of 78-16 setting up a game against the host team from Moosomin for the title. The Eagles would take the final game of the tournament by a score of 49-27. 

The Junior Girls’ basketball team was off on the weekend, after picking up a win over St. Mike’s in an exhibition game last Thursday by a final score of 47-14. 

Both teams are off this coming weekend and will play their final tournament of the season on March 3rd and 4th at St. Mike’s. From there, they will be off to the South East district championships on March 8th.
