The only regular meeting for August goes tonight at 6:00 for Weyburn City Council in Council Chambers at City Hall.

Among the agenda items, including regular reports from the Fire Department, Public Works, and the Water Treatment Plant, Council will discuss the Engineering Department's expression of interest in the Urban Highway Connector Program through the Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure. The aim is to receive funding for priority areas to do some repaving work in the City, including on First Avenue from Government Road to 10th Street, and King Street from First Avenue to Fifth Avenue north.

Council will also revisit the zoning bylaw amendment for the Fido's Place Doggy Daycare and Training Facility, as well as a home-based massage therapy business application.

We will have results from tonight's meeting for you tomorrow morning, on air and online.
