A 31-year-old man from British Columbia has been arrested after a search warrant was executed in Weyburn Thursday.

In a release on social media, the Weyburn Police service stated the warrant was executed by the Drug Enforcement Unit, with assistance from the Estevan Police Service Drug Enforcement Unit and the Joint Tactical Support Team.

The search of the home yielded over half a kilogram of cocaine, which was reported to have a street value of $86,000. Over $1000 in cash was also seized.

The man was charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of the proceeds of crime under $5000.
