Weyburn Arts Council's James Weir Peoples Choice(JWPC) has been on for less than a month and Curator Regan Lanning has been taking groups of all ages on guided tours of the show.
Earlier this week she guided the Grade 2 classes at St Michael School in touring the JWPC. We went along to see what a guided tour was like!
The students had fun learning about and discussing many different art topics including mediums, styles, symbolism, colour, concept, design, meaning, and more.
Groups can book a tour by calling Alice Neufeld at Signal Hill Arts Centre.
Individuals can enjoy the show alone or join one of the public tours on January 30th and February 13th.
Voting closes February 15th and you can vote online here or see the art in person and vote at the Allie Griffin Art Gallery in the lower level of the Weyburn Public Library.
Reception and winners announcements will be February 21st.
