Four Saskatchewan junior golfers are heading to Niagara to represent the province at the Canada Summer Games later this season, including Weyburn’s own Darien Herlick.

“It's definitely a big opportunity representing your home turf, and you want to play well right at the tournament and represent well,” said Herlick. “It's a big thing for me, being 16 and being able to go out there. It’s definitely a memory I'll never forget.”

Herlick said he has been getting some practice at the Royal in Regina.

The Games are happening from August 6 to 21, with the golf competition taking place from August 17 to 20.
