Weyburn Wor-kin Shop Executive Director Andria Brady

The Weyburn Wor-Kin Shop Corp. has announced their newest fundraising partner in the goal to raise $500,000 towards their new Day Program Building.

Automobility Medical of Regina is the city’s largest home health care and medical products store, serving Saskatchewan’s needs since 1989. They sell or rent over 70,000 medical, mobility, incontinence and daily living aids and are the manufacturers of the best Quick Attach Permanent Hand Controls in the World.

The company has graciously offered to donate 10 per cent of sales towards the Wor-Kin Shop's new Day Program Building project. Anyone can participate simply by identifying themselves as a supporter at the time of their purchase of any mobility product. This applies to all purchases, whether client paid, covered by insurance, etc.

“We are so grateful to the team at Automobility for sharing this opportunity with us. They deal with disability every day and know how much of a challenge the simplest tasks can be for someone with restricted mobility. Their many products allow people to achieve maximum independence and quality of life.” comments Andria Brady, Executive Director of the Weyburn Wor-Kin Shop. “We hope that anyone using their services mentions our agency and offers their support to our very worthwhile cause of a new building from which to provide services and programs to individuals with intellectual disabilities.”

Automobility is located at 1444 Lorne Street in Regina and can be reached toll free at 1-800-470-7067 or www.handcontrolscorp.com.
