The Western Canadian Wheat Growers Association will be moving to oppose the latest legal action launched by the Canadian Wheat Board.

Cherilyn Nagel is past-president of the Wheat Growers and says they will be asking for intervenor status as well as moving ahead with their own legal case.

"(The CWB directors) are esentially taking money from their own personal slush fund, which is what we call the pool account, and spending it as they see fit to support their own ideology," says Nagel.

She says the reckless action by the CWB directors is causing needless uncertainty in the marketplace.
