It was announced during Monday's City Council meeting that the City of Weyburn Walk of Fame Committee is looking to celebrate some of Weyburn’s finest. The celebration originally kicked off in 2008 and now every other year a maximum of two residents are inducted into the Walk of Fame. 

The award recognizes individuals for outstanding achievements and who have made significant contributions to the national or global landscape.  

Nominations will be accepted until December 31, 2022, for the 2023 induction year. For more information on application criteria, nomination forms, and a list of previous inductees you can visit the City of Weyburn website HERE. 

The City of Weyburn welcomes all nominations for Weyburn’s most outstanding residents. The date for the 2023 induction ceremony is to be determined.
