The Midale Oilmen's Association's 29th Annual Golf Tournament Is being held at Mainprize Golf Course on Friday, June 24th.

"We do a two-person scramble or best ball, and then after that is done, we do a horse race with five teams to get the winner," explained President Darren Moldenhauer. "During the round, we have food and beer holes. We also do a putting competition we started doing we do a little chipping contest on one of the holes also."

He said the entry fee is $150 a person and to register, call 306-458-7838. 

Moldenhauer said as always, the proceeds from this tournament go back into the community. 

"Through this event, we've raised over $100,000 and donated it back to the community," he noted. 

"The more that come out, the better it is," he added. 

Funds help to fund facilities, programs, and events for children and families in the Midale area. Previous years' golf tournaments have funded the Midale school, rink, and Mainprize Park.
