The Bantam AA Crescent Point Energy Wings set the tone for their upcoming playoff series against the Estevan Bantam Bruins Sunday night. The Wings came away with a 3-1 win. With the victory, Weyburn finished 10th in the SBAAHL South Division.

The scoring started for the Wings at the 6:23 mark of the first period, when Parker Douglas scored his 10th goal of the season. The goal was assisted by Cooper Chisholm, who would finish the night with two points. Just over three minutes later, the Wings would make it a 2-0 game as Tanner Rowland scored an unassisted goal.

In the second period, Chisholm would score, with Andrew Altwasser and Rylan Erb getting the assists. The 3-0 lead would carry into the second period, which was when the shutout bid for Dylan Ernst was spoiled.

Kieran Stewart scored at the 10:57 mark of the final frame, making it a 3-1 final.

The two teams will now meet in the first round of the SBAAHL playoffs. The dates for the games have not been set.
