The Bantam AA Crescent Point Energy Wings came out on the wrong side of the scoreboard Sunday afternoon, as they fell 9-2 to the visiting Humboldt Bantam Broncos.

The Broncos jumped out to an early lead, scoring four goals within five minutes in the first period. The Wings were able to reply with just over five minutes left when Rylan Erb notched an unassisted power-play goal. The marker was his 11th of the season.

The Wings were unable to solve the Broncos in the second period, as the visitors used a late first-period goal, one in the second, and two more in the third before Weyburn could reply again. Tanner Rowland was able to get the Wings back on the board with 6:35 remaining in the third period. The goal, his fourth of the year, was assisted by Sawyer Kopec and Rylan Erb.

The Wings are now 2-11-0-1 on the season. The Bantam AA Wings are back in action Wednesday, November 29th, when they host the Regina Pat Blues.
