The Weyburn Beavers moved back above .500 Tuesday night, as they closed out their Alberta road swing with a 6-3 win over the Okotoks Dawgs.

The Beavers put up four runs in the first four innings and never looked back, as Austin Gurr and Carson Perkins combined on the mound to keep the Dawgs at bay. Perkins was credited with the win on the scoresheet.

Anthony Wiggins had two RBI for the Beavers, with Luis Jimenez, Ulysses Fluellen, Zach Mathis and Wade Weinburger also bringing in runs. Jimenez also recorded his tenth double of the season.

The Beavers will have Wednesday off before they host the Yorkton Cardinals Thursday night at Tom Laing Park.
