There were four games on the ice in the WHL Thursday night. 

In Regina, at the East Division Hub, the Regina Pats took the ice against the Saskatoon Blades. It would prove to be Rhett Rhinehart’s night to shine, as he scored a natural hat trick to lead the Blades to a 4-1 victory. With the win, the Blades improved to 14-2-2-0 on the season and regained sole possession of first in the standings. Regina is in sixth place, tied with the Moose Jaw Warriors. 

The late-game had the Moose Jaw Warriors taking on the Prince Albert Raiders. Max Paddock made 45 saves for the Raiders to hold the Warriors off the scoreboard, and Michael Horon and Eric Pearce scored as the Raiders picked up a 2-0 victory. Prince Albert moved up into 4th place in the Division with the win, two points ahead of Regina and Moose Jaw. 

In the Alberta Division, the Edmonton Oil Kings scored three power-play goals en route to a 4-0 victory over the Lethbridge Hurricanes. Sebastian Cossa stopped all 30 shots he faced to earn the shutout. Meanwhile, in the B.C. Division, the Vancouver Giants opened up a 3-0 lead in the second period and added one more marker in the third to pick up a 4-0 win over the Victoria Royals. 

There are four games scheduled for Friday night in the WHL.  

In the East Division Hub in Regina, the Swift Current Broncos take on the Winnipeg Ice. In Alberta, the medicine Hat Tigers host the Red Deer Rebels. The B.C. Division will have the Victoria Royals take on the Prince George Cougars while the Seattle Thunderbirds host the Everett Silvertips in the U.S. Division.
