Aside from the Weyburn Red Wings taking the ice in Flin Flon Wednesday night, there were two other games in the SJHL. In both cases, the road team was looking to get back into the win column.

The Estevan Bruins are currently on a northern road swing of their own and found themselves in La Ronge against the Ice Wolves. The Bruins went into the game having had their hands full with the Wolves, with La Ronge winning two of the previous three encounters.

It would be Estevan who came out on top in this one, winning 4-1. Estevan had goals from Isaiah Thomas, Eddie Gallagher, Michael McChesney and Turner Ripplinger, while Jake Gudjonson replied for the Ice Wolves.

In Wilcox, the Notre Dame Hounds entertained division rivals Kindersley. The Klippers were looking to pick up a win to edge closer to the Battlefords for second in the Global Ag Risk Solutions Division.

The Klippers would come out on top, picking up a 4-2 victory. They were led offensively by Noah Turanski, Will Van Der Sloot, Ty Enns and Austin Nault. The Hounds had two goals from Jakob Breault in response.

There is just one game scheduled in the SJHL Thursday. Kindersley travels to Humboldt to take on the Broncos.
