This weekend is the first full weekend for minor hockey in the Weyburn area. The senior leagues will also be back in full swing as well this weekend.

Here is the rundown of which minor hockey teams will be playing where this weekend.

Atom

The Atom AA Panther Drilling Wings will have just one game this weekend. They are off to Melville for a matchup with the Millionaires Friday night. The game starts at 7:45 p.m.

The SEMHL will have a full weekend for the Atom teams. It all starts on Friday night, as the Milestone Flyers entertain the Estevan Warriors at 6:30 p.m.

Saturday, the day begins at 10:30 a.m. as Weyburn AtoMc Green heads down to Estevan to take on the Warriors. At 12:00 p.m., Weyburn AtoMc Black heads south to Crosby. Also at noon, Ogema/Bengough hosts Crosby Blue in Ogema.

At 3:15 p.m. on Saturday, the Radville Nationals are in Weyburn to play AtoMc White, and at 3:30 p.m., the Milestone Flyers will be in Estevan to take on the Kings.

It will be busy Sunday as well. Again, it starts off in the morning, as Crosby Blue will play Weyburn AtoMc Green in the Sports Arena. Then at 3:00 p.m., the Estevan Kings play Weyburn AtoMc Black in Crescent Point Place. Also at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, Ogema hosts Weyburn AtoMc Blue. The weekend wraps up for the Atom Division of the SEMHL with the Milestone Flyers playing their third game of the weekend in Weyburn against AtoMc White.

In the SaskFHL Atom Division, there will be just two games for a Weyburn team. AtoMc Gold will be in Estevan Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday, they play the Senchuk Bearcats at 1:45 p.m. Sunday, they play the Bearcats at 12:00 p.m.

Pee Wee

The schedule for Pee Wee aged players is busy this weekend as well.

For the Pee Wee AA Young Fellow Wings, they head up to Saskatoon for the Sask Challenge Cup. They open play Friday morning against the West Central Wheat Kings at 9:45 a.m. Friday afternoon, they take on the Saskatoon Fury. They close out the round-robin Saturday morning against the Yellowknife Wolfpack.

In the Pee Wee division of the SEMHL, there are eight games in total on deck for the weekend.

It all starts Friday night, as Radville Nationals Red head to Estevan for a match-up against the Estevan Wolves at 5:15 p.m. Meanwhile, Radville Nationals White plays host to the Estevan Thunder in Radville, with puck drop at 5:30 p.m. The third game Friday will see the Milestone Flyers taking on the Weyburn Legion Wing sin Milestone, starting at 8:15.

Saturday, the Legion Wings will entertain the Yellow Grass Wheat Kings in the Sports Arena, starting at 4:00 p.m. The other game Saturday has the Milestone Flyers off to Estevan for an 8:00 p.m. puck drop against the Thunder.

Sunday’s action starts with the Weyburn Kinsmen Wings in Yellow Grass to play the Wheat Kings at 3:45 p.m. The Milestone Flyers play their second road game of the weekend, as they are in Radville to play Nationals White. The last game of the weekend is in Estevan, as the Midale Mustangs head down for a match-up against the Storm. Both of the games start at 4:15 p.m.

There is just one game this weekend for the Weyburn Canadian Tire Angels in the Pee Wee Division of the SaskFHL. They will be taking on the Ochapowace Thunder in the Sports Arena at 12:30 p.m. Sunday.

Bantam

The Bantam AA Whitecap Resource Wings will play a pair of games this weekend. It starts off Saturday evening. They take on the Battlefords Barons at Crescent Point Place at 7:45 p.m. The Bantam AA Wings will then head up to Regina Sunday afternoon for a 2:15 p.m. puck drop against the Monarchs.

The Bantam A Knight Dodge Wings, who play in the Hockey Regina Bantam League, have just one game this weekend. They will host the Regina Cougars Sunday at Crescent Point Place. The game starts at 5:30 p.m.

Both of the Bantam B teams from Weyburn who play in the Moose Jaw Minor Hockey League will be on the ice this weekend. Friday night, the Prairie Sky Co-op Wings take on the Moose Jaw Royals. The game starts at 7:45 p.m. in the Sports Arena.

Saturday, the Moose Jaw Oilers will be in town to play against both teams. The first game will be at 12:15 p.m. against the Young Fellow Wings. Then, at 7:30 p.m., the Oilers play the Prairie Sky Co-op Wings. Both of those games will be in the Sports Arena.

The Bantam Milestone Flyers female team, which plays in the SaskFHL, will be on the ice Sunday. They host the Moose Jaw Mavericks at 12:30 p.m.

Midget

In Midget AA action, the John Hulbert Construction Wings will play a pair of home games this weekend. The first will be Saturday afternoon. At 12:45 p.m. in Crescent Point Place, they play the Midget AA Melville Millionaires. Sunday at 12:30 p.m., the Wings host Prairie Storm in Crescent Point Place.

In the SaskFHL, the Midget AA South East Aaron Well Servicing Gold Wings will take on the Notre Dame Hounds Sunday. The game starts at 4:00 p.m. at the Harry O Memorial Rink in Midale.

In the Moose Mountain Minor Hockey League, it will be a very busy weekend in the Midget division, with a total of six games on tap.

It starts on Friday, as Arcola/Lampman will head to Bienfait for a game against the Estevan Wolves. It starts at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, the Estevan Wolves host the Carnduff Red Devils, again in Bienfait. The puck drops on the game at 4:00 p.m.

The Weyburn Aldon Oil Wings will be on the road Saturday. They travel to Carlyle for a game against the Cougars.

Sunday will see three games in the MMMHL. It begins with a match-up at 5:00 p.m. in Estevan, as Arcola/Lampman is in town for a game against the Bears.

The Milestone Flyers will travel to Carnduff to take on the Red Devils Sunday evening. The puck drops at 7:00 p.m. Also at 7:00 p.m., the Radville Nationals play the Estevan Wolves. The game will be played in Torquay.

The Midget Carlyle Wildcats will be at home in SaskFHL action on Saturday. At 5:00 p.m. they take on the Regina Renegades.

There are two games on the schedule this weekend for the Junior C Yellow Grass Wheat Kings of the QVHL, both on the road. The Wheat Kings will be in White City Friday night taking on the Emerald City Wizards at 8:00 p.m. Then on Saturday, the Wheat Kings will head to Regina to take on the River Rats. The game starts at 8:00 p.m. as well.
