When Graham DeLaet tees off in the Travelers Championship Thursday, it will be the first time he has swung a club in a competition in three weeks. Off for the St. Jude Classic, and the U.S. Open, DeLaet will be looking to bring some of the successes from The Memorial at the beginning of June to TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut this weekend.

The Weyburn native has had success at the Travelers in the past. While he didn’t play in the tournament last year, as he was preparing for the Olympics, he did play in 2014 and 2015, finishing third and fourth respectively.

This season, he has been playing strong, bouncing back from what many considered to be an off-form season last year. DeLaet is currently 73rd in the FedEx Cup standings and has five top ten finishes. He has also picked up eight top 25 finishes. His earnings are also the highest in three years, as he has eclipsed the $1 million mark.

DeLaet opens the Travelers Thursday at 5:10 a.m. Saskatchewan time, on the back nine of the course.
