When Graham DeLaet steps into the tee box for the first hole Thursday, he will be starting play in his eighth RBC Canadian Open. The tournament, the third oldest on the PGA Tour, is being played at the prestigious Glen Abbey Golf Course in Oakville Ontario.

The tournament is the first one DeLaet ever played in, making his PGA Tour debut there in 2007. Since then, he has seen his fair share of ups and downs at the tournament over the years, but as of late, more ups.

His best performance came in 2014, when he finished in a tie for seventh place, going -10 for the weekend. His most recent performance, though, is one he won’t want to look back at, as he missed the cut after the second round.

DeLaet does have some momentum coming into the weekend, though. His last tournament was the Greenbrier Classic, where he finished tied for 20th. He has picked up nine top-25 finishes this year, and five top-10. This season has also been his best since 2014 when it comes to earnings, as he has made just over $1.2 million.

The Weyburn native enters the tournament currently 74th in the overall FedEx Cup rankings, but a strong performance in Oakville this weekend could see him move up.

We will have full coverage on air and online of his performances throughout the weekend.
