It was a tough go for Graham DeLaet in the first round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational in Orlando, Florida this morning.

The Weyburn golfer shot five bogies and one birdie for his four over at 76 game today.

Graham DeLaet tees off Friday morning in the Arnold Palmer Invitational in Orlando, Florida. DeLaet will be looking to improve from his 22nd place finish at the Valspar Championship last weekend.

It has been a strong season for the Weyburn native so far this year. He has scored par of better in eight of the nine tournaments played so far, and has five top-25 finishes, and three top-10 finishes. Ranked 53rd in the FedEx Cup standings, it is safe to say the 2017 season is a rebound year for DeLaet.

This is the third career appearance at the Arnold Palmer Invitational for DeLaet. In 2013, he finished in a tie for 50th, and failed to make the cut in 2015. His numbers so far this season, if they are any indication, show he has the capability of putting up some impressive rounds, and shoot for his first career title on the PGA Tour.
