A top ten finish at The Memorial for Graham DeLaet this weekend. He climbed up 17 spots on the leaderboard in the final round to finish in a tie for tenth place, six strokes back of the leader at 7-under.

DeLaet started out his final round with four birdies on the first nine holes, including a phenomenal second shot on the second hole. He sent the ball 115 yards from the fairway to the green, coming to a stop just two feet from the hole, and an eagle. He would make the easy putt for the birdie. He followed it up with birdies on three, six and eight before making the turn.

On the back nine, DeLaet ran into a little trouble on the par-4 tenth hole. His tee shot was just off the fairway, and his second shot from the rough found a bunker just to the right of the green. He made his way off the beach and finished off with a bogey. He would get the stroke back on the following hole, though with another birdie. DeLaet added a birdie on the 14th hole, before running into trouble on 16.

His tee shot found the water just short of the green on the par-3, and he would end up with a double bogey on the hole. He bounced back on 17, with an approach shot that found the green, just three feet in front of the pin, coming just inches away from an eagle for the second time on the day. He would make the easy putt to finish with a 4- under 68.

DeLaet moved up the FedEx Cup rankings with the win, to 68th. He brings home $217,500 for the 10th place finish, putting his earnings on the season at $1,138,945, his best year money-wise since 2014.
