Ceylon’s Tristyn DeRoose will be skating with the Moose Jaw Warriors of the WHL this season. He was traded to the team Tuesday, from the Vancouver Giants.

DeRoose played in 55 games last season, notching six points, and 91 penalty minutes.

DeRoose played minor hockey in Weyburn, picking 51 points in 30 games with the Bantam AA Wings in 2013-14 before moving on to the Yorkton Maulers for his Midget AAA hockey. He spent two seasons there before going to the Giants.
