The CFL is well underway, the NFL season kicks off, the college games fill the scheduled north and south of the border, and now, the Moose Jaw Minor Football League is in full swing as well.

The three teams from Weyburn which play in the league will be in action this weekend.

The Pee Wee Eagles are on the road Friday night. They open their season in Moose Jaw where they take on the 1-0 Vikings. The Vikings are coming off a 49-0 shutout of Estevan last weekend.

The Pee Wee Ravens will be on the field Saturday morning. They host the Moose Jaw Lions at 11:00 a.m. on the Minor Football Field. The Ravens are 1-0 after a 48-6 rout of the Moose Jaw Lions last weekend. The Mustangs are 0-1 after they lost 34-12 to Assiniboia.

For the Bantam Falcons, they will be looking for their first win of the season when they head to Estevan Friday night to take on the Oilers. The Falcons played to a 7-7 tie with the Swift Current Steelers last weekend. Estevan is looking for their first win of the year, as they lost to the Moose Jaw Razorbacks.

The weekend caps off Saturday afternoon, as the high school football season starts.

The Weyburn Comprehensive Eagles are on the field to start the year. They are playing host to Yorkton Regional, the defending league champions.
