The experience of a lifetime for Devon Becker wrapped up this weekend, and it finished on a note that will be hard to duplicate. As a member of Team Canada, the Weyburn Red Wings defenseman won gold, beating the United States 7-2 in the final game at the Maccabiah Games in Israel.

Canada went undefeated in the tournament, winning all five games by a combined score of 51-9. Becker had nearly 20 points in the tournament, where he also had the chance to play with his brother Kyle.

The tournament was the second time hockey has been part of the Maccabiah Games, which are held in Israel every four years. The gold medal game was also the first hockey game ever played in Jerusalem.
