(submitted photo)The Saskatchewan Selects took two titles at the International Pigskin Classic in San Antonio, Texas last month. This past weekend, players were recognized for their efforts at the tournament, including two players from Weyburn Minor Football.

Nolan Uhren was named the Offensive MVP for the 10U team. They went undefeated at the tournament, capping their weekend off with a 39-8 win over the Manitoba Selects in the final.

The 12U Offensive MVP was Weyburn’s Alex Junk. The 12U team had a rough go at the tournament, finishing with a record of 0-3.
