The Weyburn Iron Pigs were on their way to a big win over the Findlater Braves until the seventh inning Thursday night. Then, the Braves rallied to tie the game in the bottom of the inning, forcing a 12-12 draw.

The Pigs jumped out to a quick lead, with five runs in the first and third inning, and adding singles in the second and fourth. They were led by Luke Niemegeers and Kenton Fisher, who had three RBI each.

On the mound, Justin Beahm went five innings, striking out eight.

The next game for the Iron Pigs is coming up on July 9. They travel to Regina to visit the Dodgers.
