The Midget AA John Hulbert Construction Wings moved closer to closing the gap for first in the South Saskatchewan Midget Hockey League last night. They skated to a 4-1 win over the Prairie Storm in White City. With the victory, Weyburn is now in fourth in the league, four points back of the first place Estevan Midget Bruins, with five games in hand.

The Wings had two goals from Matt Anderson in the win. Anderson has now scored 18 goals on the season in 24 games played and leads the team. Kyler Douglas and Kyle Perras also scored for Weyburn.

Matthew Dutchak was in goal for the win. His GAA on the season is now 2.58, fourth best in the league.

The Wings will be back in action on Saturday. They host the Midget Terriers from Yorkton at Crescent Point Place.
