The Midget AA John Hulbert Construction Wings coming up short against the Regina Capitals Thursday night. They fell 5-2 in the game, played at the Al Ritchie Arena in Regina.

The Capitals built up a 4-0 lead before the Wings were on the board. Spencer Ordahl would get the Wings their first goal of the game with 3:29 left in the second period. Kyle Perras and Joel Niemegeers would tally the assists.

In the third, the Capitals would score just after the halfway mark, before Weyburn would reply with one more of their own. Perras tallied, with Niemegeers and Todd Johnson assisting.

With the loss, the Wings are six points back of the Yorkton Midget Terriers for first in the league and one point back of the Regina Rangers for second. Weyburn has a game in hand on the Rangers, and two on the Terriers.

The Wings will look to jump back into second place tonight when they take on the Rangers in Regina.
