For the second time in four days, the Radville Midget Nationals could call themselves champions.

Just days after capturing the Moose Mountain Hockey League midget title, they hosted the Muenster Flyers for the final game of the provincial championships. The Nationals entered the game leading the two-game, total goal series 3-1.

While the Flyers picked up a 4-3 win in the second game, the Nationals had the edge in the total goals, winning the championship by a final of 6-5.

This is the second provincial midget title for Radville. The first title came in 1972.
