The Pee Wee AA Young Fellow Wings wrapped up their regular season Wednesday night. They fell 5-1 to the Estevan Pee Wee Bruins at Crescent Point Place.

Neither team was able to score in the first, but that would change in the middle frame. The Bruins jumped out to an lead early in the second period, as Jeremy Meredith scored for the Bruins four minutes into first period. Kaden Chrest then added another for the Bruins just two minutes late on the power play. It would be 3-0 by the end of the stanza as James Mann added another for Estevan.

Chrest scored his second of the game late in the third period, unassisted, before the Wings were able to get on the board. Donavin Mellon put the puck in past Talon Howie, with Andrew Altwasser getting the assist. Estevan would add one more, though, as Chrest scored his third of the game short-handed late in the third.

The Wings will now get set for the playoffs. Finishing the regular season in fourth place, they will take on the Melville Pee Wee Millionaires in the opening round. The dates and times of the series haven’t been set at this time.
