Mired in a four-game losing streak, the Weyburn Red Wings have added another forward to the roster. 1998 born Zac Gladu will join the Wings immediately and is expected to suit up tomorrow night against Nipawin.

Gladu previously played for Kindersley and La Ronge in the SJHL, before cracking the Val-d'Or Foreurs roster last year in the OMJHL. He suited up for 17 games and recorded a goal and an assist with 18 penalty minutes. Gladu also brings 77 games of SJHL experience, including six playoff games. The Golden Prairie, AB native has also played in 16 games for the Drayton Valley Thunder of the AJHL in his career.

A strong and physical 20-year-old will be a welcome addition to a suddenly depleted Red Wings lineup. Gladu is listed as 6'2 and 225 pounds. Gladu also competes in track and field and won four gold medals at the 2017 Alberta Indigenous Games, competing in shot put, high jump, long jump and discuss.

Wings fans can get their first look at Gladu tomorrow night when the Nipawin Hawks come to town. Game time is set for 7:30 at Crescent Point Place.
