A familiar face returning to the lineup for the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

The team announced Monday they have re-signed running back Cameron Marshall, although he isn't immediately on the active roster. The 26-year-old from San Jose, California was added to the Roughriders' practice squad.

Marshall played in 10 games with the Roughriders last season. In those ten games, he carried the ball 101 times for 543 yards, and two touchdowns. He added 30 receptions for 280 yards, 261 of those after the catch, and two touchdowns.

Marshall was released by the Riders back in May of this year.

The Roughriders also reactivated defensive lineman Curt Maggitt from the suspended list. Signed in the offseason, he was added to the suspended list in May for an unspecified reason.

Maggitt spent the 2016 season with the Indianapolis Colts of the NFL, where he played nine games as a rookie, registering seven tackles before being placed on the injured reserve.

The Riders are back on the field Sunday when they host the Calgary Stampeders.
