Another year of Silver Seals Swiming has come and gone in Weyburn. Last week they handed out some awards, as well as had their AGM. Plenty of young swimmers were honoured based on their performance, leadership qualities and the attitude they brought to the pool.

President of the Club, Twyla Molnar, was on hand to present the awards and give some speeches. 

For the Pups (ages 6 and under), Lyndsay Kilpatrick was awarded Most Dedicated, with Chisom Ejecjkam taking home the Coach's Award. Brynn Huebner won Most Improved.

In the Stellars category (ages 7 and 8), Avryelle Molnar and Jacob Gill won top honours of most Season Points. Emily Kilpatrick received Most Dedicated, Daisy Popescu won the Leadership Award, while the Attitude Award went to Mack Isatce. Hailey Caldwell got the Coaches Award and Mojet Adediji was named Most Improved.

The Leopards group (ages 9 and 10) saw Dylan Van Staveren and Tamberly Kreger finish with the most Season Points. Brody Cancade was the winner of Leadership Award. Avryelle Molnar and Jacob Gill were co-recipients of Most Dedicated. The Coaches Award went to Kyra King, with Nash Hignett taking home the Attitude Award and Norrie Caudill earned Most Improved.

In the oldest category, Harps and Harbours (ages 11 and up) Marley Kradovill won the Leadership Award. Ryder Hignett took home Best Attitude, while Dawson King and Payton Caldwell split the honours of Most Dedicated. Aiden Guest was recognized with the Coaches Award, and Most Improved in the age group was awarded to both Rylan Cancade and Hayden Laroque.

For 11 and 12-year-olds, Marley Kradovill and Dalton Molnar secured the Season High Points. For 13 and 14-year-olds, Tre Thompson and Kara Zelyck were the big winners, and Ruslan and Rumina Edgerton had the Season High Points for ages 15 to 17. 

Some honourable mentions for a terrific season went to Antonious Quist for Leadership. Hailey Kilpatrick for her positive attitude around the pool. Emerson and Tauren Jack were recognized for their improvement and comedic relief. Thomas Van Staveren was awarded for his quiet leadership and Mojet Adediji stood out for his overall improvement.
