Rainfall to start off the weekend in Weyburn is expected to disrupt a number of sporting events in and around the Opportunity City.

The Weyburn Soccer Association's annual Family Fun Day has been canceled as a result of the rain. An email sent this morning stated it will not be rescheduled for a later date.

The Weyburn Midget AA Beavers were scheduled to play a doubleheader against Moose Jaw this afternoon, starting at 1:00 p.m. The games have been postponed due to the rain. There is no word at this time on when the games will be rescheduled.
