It was a busy night on the basepaths in Weyburn, with three teams in action.

Mosquito

The Mosquito AAA Element Beavers were on the road last night. They travelled to Regina to take on the White Sox. It would be the home team coming out on top with a 15-9 win.

Pee Wee

The Pee Wee AAA DFA Transport Beavers took on the Regina White Sox at Jubilee Park last night. It was a rematch of Sunday’s semi-final match-up at the Legasse tournament in Regina, where the White Sox won 10-0.

This time, the score was a lot closer, but the White Sox still eked out an 8-7 victory. Ty Mason, Wyatt Ebel and Quinn Mantei were the pitchers.

Next action for the Pee Wee AAA Beavers is Thursday when they host the Regina Buffalos.

Midget

The Midget AA Beavers travelled to the new Pacers Park in Regina last night to take on the Regina Buffalos. The Beavers would extend their unbeaten streak to nine games, with a 15-1 victory.

Weyburn scored seven times in the first inning, thanks in part to triples from Nolan Ling and Walker Happ. The two, along with Braden Birnie, had multiple hits for the Beavers.

Joel Niemegeers went the full five innings on the mound for the win.

The next game for the Beavers will be Thursday when they host Lumsden.
