Weyburn`s Senior Volleyball teams are at provincials this weekends.

The boys team kicked off the tournament yesterday in meadow lake when they took on the Regina LeBoldus team losing 2 sets to 0. The boys proceeded to beat Meadow Lake later in the afternoon 2 sets to 1, then playing Saskatoon`s Holy Cross team, also defeating them 2 sets to 1. The boys play again this morning against Prince Albert before the playoffs begin this afternoon

Meanwhile, the WCS Girls` tournament in Melfort saw them lose 2 sets to 0 against Prince Albert`s St. Mary`s. The girls also lost to Melfort 2 sets to 1. The final game of the day was played against Regina``s Campbell team in which they were victorious, beating Regina 2 sets to 1. The girls will play Saskatoon St. Joseph`s this morning before playoffs begin this afternoon

Other regions are taking part in provincials as well. In the 4-A Class is Notre Dame, Kipling and Oxbow. Notre Dame and Kipling lost 2 of their 3 games yesterday and Oxbow won all three of theirs.

Carlyle, in the 3-A Class won all three of their games yesterday.

Wawota in 2-A Class lost both of the 2 games they played yesterday.

The teams are hoping to bring home some provincial titles.
