The grass is always greener at the Weyburn Golf Club.

To keep it that way, the greens will be aerated next Tueday, May 23 and Wednesday, May 24.

Starting Saturday, May 20, the Weyburn Golf Club will be opening at 7 a.m. until Labour Day Weekend. The Kitchen and Lounge are now open from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. with a full menu available.

CO-OP Men's Night Points systm has begun. CO-OP Men's Nights are every Wesnesday at 4:30 p.m. Men's night is a shotgun start with a steak supper to follow. Call the pro-shop to register (306-842-5881).

Tuesday Night Ladies' has begun. Ladies' Night Shotgun Start is at 5:30 every Tuesday. They play nine holes and alternate nines every week. Call the pro-shop to register.

Monday Night Skins Night is a shotgun start at 5:30 p.m. every Monday. The game is nine Holes and alternate nines every week. Call the pro-shop to register.

The first tournament of the season is the WGC 2nd Annual Night Golf Tournament. This will be held on Saturday, May 27. A steak supper is scheduled for 7:00p.m., nine-hole shotgun start at dusk. No carts are allowed for this event and the entry fee is $40 per person. The format is two-person teams with alternating shots. Call the pro-shop to register.

The Club Championship has moved to June. This season it will be held on June 24. There will be Men's, Ladies, Senior Men's & Junior Divisions. Entry Fee is $40 with a banquet and prizes to follow play. Call the pro-shop to register.

If anyone is interested in renting a locker for the season there are six available and they are $100 to rent for the season.

The Graham & Ruby Delaet Foundation is once again sponsoring the Weyburn Golf Club's Junior Golf Program. The program will be held on June 4, 11 and 18. The cost is $40.00 per junior. Call the pro-shop to register and for more information.
