The Weyburn Wrestling Club playing host to more than 170 wrestlers from around the province on the weekend, as they held their annual meet. In all, 25 wrestlers from Weyburn finished on the podium in their respective weight classes.

In the freshie male group, Kaira Dayaan (16-17) finished first, and Donovan Lanz (36-39) second. Third place finishes were recorded by Linden Kerr (17-19), Cale Porter (23-24), and Alex Christopherson (24-25). Justin Uhrich (24-25) picked up fourth place finish.

Alena Leblanc (22-24) captured a first-place finish in the freshie female groups and Kylee Krisa (23-25) third.

There were three Weyburn wrestlers who medalled in the novice female group. Nicole Dayaan (21) and Aurora Christopherson (35) finished in first in their weight groups, while Lily Leblanc (24-25) was second.

In the novice male groupings, Karson Gervais picked up a first-place finish, while Spencer McLeod (24-25) was fifth.

Raiden Kiraly (62-66) took first place in his weight group in the pee wee male age division. Chris Dayaan (26-27) finished second and Daylin Cascagnette (26-27) was third. Davin Cascagnette (31-34) had a third-place finish as well.

Four Weyburn wrestlers finishing in second in the pee wee female age division. Avlynn Drake (30-33), Vonni Schira (42-44), Jacqueline Soles (48-49) and Ali Christopherson (52-55) all finished on the podium.

In the bantam male group, Trotter Drake (39-42) was the lone Weyburn wrestler to finish on the podium, coming in first. Cale Mohan (44-47) was fourth in his weight class, and Mason Sidloski (49-52) fifth in his.

A number of first place finishes for Weyburn in the Cadet/Juvenile group. Halen Drake (50), Eric Fleming (66) and Dominic Soles (71-76) captured gold on the male side, while Ember Schira (45) did on the female side. Dawson Runge (52-56) and Mathew Soles(89-92) each finished second in their weight classes as well. Former Weyburn wrestler Makena Ricard (68-76), who now wrestles out of Regina, finished first in her weight class.
